| Our new gym is FINALLY FINISHED!  We've never actually had a gym before! It took nine months from the ground breaking ceremony in May to the grand opening game in January! And we got to watch and observe the entire process! And it's amazing, and huge, and beautiful, and perfect, and new, and clean...( okay so I'm a little biased, but it still is all of those things  )! We played our first game in it on January 19th! And our varsity won! It was amazing! I don't think we've ever had so much school spirit in one place before.  The next day we had our gym dedication where we thanked and praised God for giving us it and gave it back to Him. It was extremely fun! We had all kinds of activities going after the initial presentation thing. We had the parents of the volleyball and basketball players doing free-throw contests, different grades seeing who was the fastest dribbler, seeing who could spin a basketball on their finger the longest, teachers doing a free-throw contest, and many other things! Needless to say...WE ALL LOVE OUR NEW GYM!

| So over Thanksgiving Reese, I guess, had a lot of free time. With all of this free time he practiced his ball handling skills a lot! This is a video of some of his skills. And after seeing this I'm sure a lot of you will try to do this yourselves. But no matter how easy Reese makes this look, it is a lot harder than it looks and took Reese a long time to perfect it for the camera!

| So we went to North Carolina for Thanksgiving with the whole family (minus an uncle/cousin or two). We had a lot of fun there. Some of my cousins ( Missy, Brooke, Lauren, Heather, and Landon) and I went Black Friday shopping at midnight with a bunch of friends from North Carolina. It was really fun. We went into Walmart after the mall and just took a bunch of crazy pics ( sorry I didn't have my camera along so I didn't get any of them  )! Just when I was about to fall asleep on the way back home, we pull into Denny's! We had milkshakes and cheese sticks at about 3 o'clock in the morning! It was really fun! We didn't end up getting home 'til around 5 a.m.! Needless to say we were very tired the next day! The whole time we were down there was a blast! | | |

| my youth group had our fall social...it was awesome!...we played our own version of "upset the fruit basket", "winkum", and "honey, if you love me, will you just please smile?"... after all the food and games we had our hayride... being pulled by a tractor, we were going slow enough for a few of the guys to jump off ...then they ran after it and quickly jumped back on before it got too far ... we all came dressed up in different costumes... it was very entertaining!... i went as a christmas present and kelsi went as a clown :) janae,kari,and kristen went as amish girls krist, karmen, and ashley were...barbies :D time for a barbie hug :D travis the terrorist the three blind mice: shaina, suzanna, and anna amber and diane were muslims nicole had a japanese kimono from an old exchange student me and my other christmas present (kari j.) :) we all met and played games in ashley and nicole's barn we had a ton of fun we all went on a hayride after kelsi got a little excited after she took her wig off :) | | |
